This light bar is designed to be mounted on the rear of the print head carriage on the linear bearing block. You will need to tap the two bottom holes in the block to accept M4 screws.
There are two versions of the light bar that will give you the choice of having the light closer to the nozzle or further away to allow for a large cooling duct to be used.
It uses 50 mm of LED light strip which is available from many eBay sellers. Do a search for 12 volt Flexible LED Light Strip. I used the 5630 warm white with 60 LEDs per metre. These are very bright and inexpensive.
I connected the wires to the E3D cooling fan so the lights come on when the printer is powered up. The current draw is very small so there will not be any noticeable effect on the fan speed.
