If you have a Homematic Window-/ Door-Contact "HM-Sec-Sco" which is not properly detecting opening and closing of the window/door, this thing may help you.
If your contact is not properly working, one of the reasons is reflection of the sent light within the housing of the contact. This especially happens if you put the white cover onto the contact - with the brown one, everything might be fine.
In the internet you can read, that you should paint the inside of the cover with a black pen, but this didn't work for me.
A solution for this issue in my case was this thing. It is a cover for the sending & receiving LED unit, which prevents reflection.
Simply open your contact, remove the transparent cover and put this thing onto the send/receive unit (little black spot with 2 LEDs).
Recommended to print it in black.
