The micro drone propeller has been designed using the Liebeck L1003 airfoil coordinates. It was tested on the Micro Drone Propeller Thrust Testing Jig (results below).
It was printed at a slow speed, with the help of a 0.2 extruder nozzle at 0.04 layer height. I cleaned the final part using a Precision Knife
After this, it was sanded using a 500 grit sandpaper.
These are the thrust measurements for a few voltage values (also visible in the pictures taken):
1.5V => 6.76 grams
2V => 12.47 grams
2.5V => 21.37 grams
3V => 27.57 grams
The files you can download consist of all the pictures taken during the test, with 6 text files that have all the airfoil coordinates used in the build, the STL files and finally the SLDPRT files. Should you want to play with this propeller, make sure you have a few 8520 coreless motors.
Use the SLDPRT extension files, in case you wish to adapt the propeller model to suit your own needs.
