This is a vibration isolator for Trinus 3D printer. Using the magic of magnetic repulsion the top half will levitate to prevent vibration towards the table and floor. I also noticed a reduction on harmonic vibration in the room. While the printer still makes noise, the amplification is minimized.
Note:
Due to the weight of the Trinus printer, you will need to order strong rare earth magnets.
Link is what I used in this project. (lower powered magnets might work also) https://www.amazon.com/Applied-Magnets-Neodymium-Magnet-1-26/dp/B01M22YMPO/ref=sr_1_79?ie=UTF8&qid=1489009401&sr=8-79&keywords=n52+neodymium+magnet
Finally, since the printer is heavier in the back end this will cause a slight lean back due to the weight. Don't worry the print will still be leveled since the extruder and printer bed are on the same axis. (you can level this out by reducing the magnetic power of the front magnets, get smaller ones)
