This my version of a leveling foot for the Wanhao I3 inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:916707. I wanted a lower profile that was sturdier and could make use of readily available threaded stem glides. I purchased them from Home Depot for $4 ( Threaded Stem Glides SKU 141 178 ). The design is simple. That is how I like to make things. Just K.I.S.S. ( Keep it simple stupid ). Align the insert with the grooves before you install the insert. The insert press fits into the hole.You may have to use a vise, bar clamp, or arbor press. If you tap it in, make sure it is flat against a strong surface to prevent cracking the part. I used an Irwin Quick-Grip that I purchased at Walmart.
