Having trouble calibrating your printer ?
One of the most important things is that your first layer is perfect..
But that's not all, all the visible sides of your 3D-print must be good looking too.
So, I made a simple design which shows you in a fast way if your printer calibration is correct and if your printer setup (extruder settings etc) is ok too.
Before printing this:
Calibrate your printer with your calibration card or whatever you use normally.
Start printing this:
Print this with a skirt: 4 lines, 1 layer.
While printing this:
You can skip this but if you dare, you can adjust the bedlevel screws a bit when it's printing the skirt, just another fine-tuning of the bedlevel. But please be careful, whats your hands !!
Aftter printing this:

don't remove the print but check it with a loupe and see how it's made.
If not ok, adjust your bedlevel and printer settings if needed.

Remove the print, and check the blocksize with a micrometer and a loupe: size must be 20mm x 10mm. And check the outside of the block, is it ok or do you have under- or overextusion, blobs, elephant-feet or whatever ? The block should be fit into the block adapter. (gap = 0.2mm)
Repeat everything until your printer made a perfect print..
