From inspiration from others on here.
I needed a corner that could handle the 18ga wire I had on hand.
My method was measure the length of wire needed (silicone cover wire is best as it won't melt as easily).
-Red 38mm.
-Green 34mm
-White 30mm
Remove about 3mm off the tips.
Tin all the tips
Tin the three pads on the strip
Tape the strip down.
Heat the pad and the wire separately
Bring the two together and touch the wire to the pad and the iron all at the same time until they all melt together.
Use multimeter to ensure no solder is causing cross-connections.
Bend the wires into the print.
Use the strip adhesive to connect it to the tips of the print.
Tin the strip
(The wires should have already been tinned)
Tape down the two strips and the corner piece.
Line everything up
Solder the last three connections using the same method as above.
No glue required for the cover. They just snap in place.
I used PETG because it's a little more heat resistant for soldering on. It's also a little more flexible.
Good luck!
