Just a simple, small thing I made for my printer (so I can use my lamp for other, more practical things). Since I have the linear guide, I couldn't exactly put led strips in the frame, so I did this.
One of these fits 3x10mm LED's. The fastening holes are meant for M3 screws, under 10mm length.
I connected 9 sets of LED's in parallel (I'm just realizing this now, my aim was to actually connect three LED's in series, and make three parallel sets of them, pretty dumb of me) and connected all of them directly to the free FAN1 output on my trigorilla board (here's hoping nothing gets fried). I wanted to manually adjust the LED's through the control panel of the printer without having to do much (read "any") programming or editing the code, so I opted out for this.
Although not apparent in the model, depending on your print settings, the sides might/will have two small holes in them (due to the wall being too thin at that part), which I only noticed after printing three of them. It doesn't make much difference though.
If anyone has a better idea for this or anything, just let me know and I'll send them the CAD file.
