I modified the frame to fit a LED matrix. I used one similar to the adafruit matrix coupled to their matrix hat on an raspberry pi zero. As a power source I coupled 7 18650 in parallel to a 5V pull up.
To control the matrix I used a VL53L0X time-of-flight distance measurement that will pkill the running script if no one is around to see it.
Regarding the frame: I intend to put it on the front door where I never use the spyhole/ door viewer thing (the simple cylinder from the 2nd scad fits my door).
For the print: Simple one piece, I think I printed with 30% infill.
