My purpose was to have a LED bar offset on the front of my printer with invisible cabling.
The cabling in passing in the right arm of the LED bar. Don't print supports to don't fill the gap for the cabling.
The thing is in two parts, I glued it together with epoxy.
My printer is a Alfawise U30 Pro.
Profile sides are 20mm.
Spacing between the two arms is 330mm.
See photos : I had to convert 24v in 12v for the LED so I used a converter LM2596, to get the right voltage you need to turn the screw in anti-clockwise direction to decrease the voltage (in my case converter was set by default to 18v), use a multimeter to set the right voltage. I sold pin on the converter and used Dupont pin connectors to connect. To fix the converter to the printer frame I used M3 nylon spacer with a nut to fix the spacer to the PCB and a M3 screw in the spacer throught a ventilation opening.
I would like to upgrade with an additional arm on the left to guide the filament (the fixing slot is already forseen in the LED bar) and also some covers to slip into the metal supports to totaly hidde the cabling.
