many months of every day wear later, the pla print finally cracked from repeated drops (changing pants or laying on the desk) so i get an excuse to print a new one. clear xt. gives it a very modern look and should be even more durable. its confirmed, the little square hole works wonderfully to hold it in place, the wigman never felled and it give a very satisfying click when pushed in. hoping others will print and post.
Multitool Holster designed for the Leatherman Wingman,
I started with a friction and vertical design. Then changed it to horizontal, and took advantage of the belt clip to hoping it will stay in place when the inside get loose, to make it easier to sit with.

Made with FreeCad I included the final design and one with all the angles still there, that would be easier to edit
