Models of the Le Rhone 9C rotary radial engine for use on scale Ww1 warbirds with electric outrunners. Engine01 fits 63 mm outrunners and Engine02 fits 50 mm outrunners. They can be rescaled to fir other motors off course. Simply do the math and rescale to fit.

I designed it for my 1:5.5 scale Hangar 9 Sopwith Camel. The diameter is ~164 mm. The dummy motor is thin to reduce air resistance when spinning.

I printed mine from PETG so that they would not lose their tension around the outrunner. A PLA engine will probably loosen over time. It should be a little tight around the outrunner motor, but sand the inside if it's impossible to get it on.

To achieve the copper effect I used genuine copper tape around the induction tubes. Paint works too.

Disclaimer:
I only recommend it for low rpm motors spinning big, scale props. High rpm use can be dangerous. How you use the printed model is your responsibility.
