Ok guys.. Vs 8 success! If you own a DJI Phantom and a 3d printer (or access to one).. Here is your alternative to another $350+ channel to do the same thing here for less than $20 and print filament etc.. Launch something from above.. Vs 8.. Notice.. No flight characteristic changes with landing gear/gimbel guard.. With Launch platform: I'm happy to announce 11 flights in a row with zero changes in flight characteristics.. Hehe.. The only noticeable difference was flight time seemed reduced to about 17+ mins.. Weights: Landing Gear/Gimbel Guard: 49 gms.. Empty 'Balanced' Snap on Launch Platform: 114 gms.. Total 163 gms..
Note.. Currently working to determine if a long hinge micro switch and fulcrum might be more efficient than a brush system while considering the additional strain on the gimbel system.. Also 6v vs 3v power..
