This is designed to work with a Grizzly G0462 Lathe. I'm using this desk lamp.
Otherwise, the only other non-printed piece here that doesn't come with the other parts is the piece of wood. I'm using a ~ 4" x 12" (100mm x 300mm) piece in the model, but on the lathe itself it's probably more like 10x3. Anything will work.
The bolts are large to make them easy to tighten and also easy to print. The Washer could probably be sourced elsewhere, but printing it takes my setup ~30m.
Most of the hardware from the lamp is used, but I found the included stablizer flimsy, so I whipped this up instead. All out of PLA at 30% infill (give or take). Exact settings will be on thingiverse when I get the models up there.
Of particular use is the 'Lower Bracket' component, that's modelled directly off the included similar piece with the lathe itself. Printed in PLA at 35% infill, it's plenty strong to use with my toolrest w/o flex or failure.
The Fusion files have all the various components, available for direct download as STLs are the Lower Bracket and the Lamp Stablizer; since they're the parts most likely to be used in another context.
Note I originally printed the bolt so that the layers were perpendicular to the length of the bolt, that is not strong enough, I recommend printing such that the layers are parallel to the length of the bolt for additional strength.
