I loved some components of the Adafruit blaster, but have been a fan of the German p08 Luger for a long time. Combined with another blaster design I liked, I decided to try to combine them all into a functional laser pistol.
This design uses a 12mm laser module and associated heat sink., for example mine uses a 1.8W I picked up from amazon on the cheap :)

You'll need these if you don't have em (min 25, more is always better):
4-40 x 3/8" SS Machine Screws
4-40 hex nuts
No.4 lock washers (optional)
files, sandpaper, Dremel, Sugru, you know... the basics.
plus any stray odds annd ends you want to glue on :) For example, the flared barrel tip is made of spare e-cig parts - heh.
This 'thing' is FAR from perfect at this time! Some work remains to be done here, for sure.
Until I modify them and get them reposted here, most missing pieces can be found on the Adafruit blaster page. Likewise, the Luger grips can be pulled from the Luger P-08 source page, until I can rework them for the LP-08 Laser Pistol.
Also, there are bound to be SERIOUS balance issues! Sheesh, its an early prototype whattaya want?
