This is a case built around the circuitry designed by Dave Fannin, KK6DF, that provides an SDR-based APRS tracker. Dave designed it for folks in the Livermore Amateur Radio Klub and called the the LART/1 - short for Livermore Amateur Radio Tracker, Version 1. The board and Arduino code can be found at:
https://github.com/dfannin/lart1
The following hardware is necessary to complete the enclosure project:
(1) abcGoodefg 3.7V 18650 Battery Holder Case Plastic Battery Storage Box with ON/OFF Switch and strap (4 Pcs 2 Solts) (bought in a pack of 4 from Amazon)
(1) Adafruit #610 Panel Mount 2.1mm DC Barrel Jack
(1) Adafruit #369 Male DC Power Adapter - 2.1mm Plug to Screw Terminal Block
(4) Pan Head Phillips Screw, M2.5 x 0.45 mm Thread, 5 mm long (McMaster-Carr 92005A061, used for holding circuit board down)
(5) Flat Head Screw, M3 x 0.5 mm thread, 8 mm long (McMaster-Carr 91420A118, used for attaching GPS shelf and the lid)
(4) Flat Head Screw, M3 x 0.5 mm thread, 4 mm long (McMaster-Carr 92010A112, used for attaching the battery holder)
Future modifications would include ribs to strengthen the lid and base, especially when prying the part off of the printer. Otherwise, it can become deformed on a heated bed. I printed these parts with ColorFabb NGEN material.
