I created half a vase type of a figure, except a bit bigger on the bottom area and revolved it. On top of it, i sketched out a smaller circle and extruded the edge between the top of the lampshade and the smaller circcle, and then I did the same steps for the bottom of the lampshade. To make it easier, hide the extruded top and bottom edges and create a diagnol line from a fron view (create a rectangle in dimensions are a line, so it can be extruded) going through the open top circle and going out through the bottom circle of the lampshade. Extrude that rectangle from the midplane, so it is longer and wider than the lampshade. Combine the line and the lampshade in common through selected bodies 1 and 2. Flipping it to the front plane, create a centerline and use a circular pattern on the front and back line separately.
