Lambda-class shuttle

The Lambda-class shuttle, also called the Imperial shuttle, was the primary light utility craft in common use of the Galactic Empire, serving as transport for troops or high-ranking officers. It was based around in an iconic tri-wing design, with a static vertical wing flanked by two other folding wings, which resembles an inverted Y when in flight. The wings fold upwards when landing; a design feature which functioned as protection for its occupants when touching down. It was lightly armed with two laser cannons, and three double blaster cannons for basic self-defense, thus it was most often seen escorted by at least two TIE Fighters flanking it.
