The capacitive sensor that comes with the ET4 sucks and should be replaced immediately with an inductive sensor. An NPN NO sensor to be precise.
The default sensor is 12mm. I opted for an 18mm inductive sensor because it has twice the range (8mm vs 4mm) than the 12mm sensor.
I created this bracket in FreeCAD to connect the 18mm sensor to the existing mount hold on the side of the hot end box.
