A very simple vegetable peeler, designed with a kitchen knife and a seperate wire clamp, fastened on the knife blade.

An alternative possibility to special existing products as known.

The wire clamp can be used with any kind of small kitchen knifes.

The peeling angle and/or the peeling length can be easily changed by using different wire clamps.

A different peeling angle can be also reached by changing the fastening hight on the knife blade, when using the "double helix" version.

The wire clamps - made of stainless steel - can be produced inexpensively, in variation of the peeling width, respective the value of the peeling angle.

The wire clamps are fastened on the knife blade by clamping force only.
Therefore the wire clamps are detachable every time when not used, respective for cleaning themselves.

The 3D-model shows two different versions of wire clamps, one of them is fastened on the knife blade.

I think, you can made both kinds of wire clamps by yourself, to try out the peeling quality.

You can use also wires, made of brass, for easier bending.

In combination with a sharp knife blade you will reach good results of peeling vegetables, like a professional cook.
