This kiosk in Reykjavik was built in 1907 in Lækjartorg, Reykjavik by architect Rögnvaldur Ólafsson. It used to sell newspapers, tobacco, candy and soft drinks. It was moved to the corner of Kalkofnsvegur and Hverfisgata in 1918 where it stood untill 1973 when it was moved to the museum of Árbæjarsafn in eastern Reykjavik. In 1977, it was moved back to Lækjartorg and in 1989 it got it's current location in Mæðragarður, 240 meters south of Lækjartorg.
