This is a remix of the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:305363 608 bearing mount. I saw that he had made it so that there needs to be a hole drilled, and supports were needed. I made this one so that the 8mm rods that are being used in your 3d printer setup simply have to be trimmed to the correct size. The 608 bearing with the dimension 22x7x8mm bore now fit flush with the inner surface, with no hole drilling needed. The fit should be tight enough that the bearing slides in, maybe tap it in carefully with a hammer, and then mount the 8mm rod.
This design eliminates entirely the need for supports since one side is flat, and provides enough backing so that the bearing will not pop out. If you like, you can put a bit of cyanoacrylate (aka crazy glue) on the bearing to hold it in, and on the 8mm rod to make sure it does not pop out. It takes 5mm screws.
Thanks to the original creator for saving me nearly $100 in parts. You will need 608 bearings with the referenced dimensions for this to work. This is designed for a rod mounted gantry in the style of the Ultimaker TM. I also included the Blender file if you would like to modify the ends to fit a 2020 extrusion.
Enjoy!
