Kappas are creatures (Yokai) that lived at the river site in older Japanese periods. They love Sumo wrestling and eating cucumbers. Many Kappas are described as evil creatures and used to attack people that got to close to the river, were the Kappas were luring in the grass or in the water luring for them.
