Description
This is an extended length switch activator block for SnakeP's K40 Cover Safety Switch. His design works great for the Laser work area but I also wanted one that worked for the electronics bay so I needed a longer block.
In the photos you can see where I installed the switches and another showing the actuators the one one the left is SnakeP's and the one on the right is the one I modified to reach the switch on the electronics bay.
The reason I like this design is that it allowed me to install the safety switches without modifying the K40 chassis. The switch mounts were fastened with hot glue and the actuators are press fit.
