This is a remix of the baton designed by sahrchitect. I recommend plating the files as they are. there is no support used. You should not have to repair any file. if you repair the baton body files then the object will no longer be hollow! after the body parts print, you will have to take a dremel and grind out each end. grind only the openings so that inside diameter is I believe 29mm.The baton body should be hollow. Do not glue the two halves yet! Take your sleeve and slide it through the two body halves. the closed end of the sleeve will be at the front upper half where the front cap will be. Open end will be at the back end of the lower half. if there is a lot of resistance then you will have to grind more material out. when the sleeve slides through then slide the shaft through aligning the tabs with the channels in the sleeve. There should be some slight resistance so that the shaft when fully assembled does not slide out back and forth. Use some filament and glue it in the channel of the sleeve at the front end of each side as a stopper for the shaft. if the shaft goes out all the way, the shaft will appear to "droop" down. glue the stoppers in a position where the shaft, when at the end of its travel, will not "droop" (1.5 inch from the end approx.). when everything looks good, glue the sleeve to the upper half. be sure not to glue the shaft!!! Slide the lower half and glue to the upper half. Grind off any excess of the back end of the sleeve. Glue the rear cap. glue the front cap to the shaft. assemble the handle halves. place handle in bracket and drill a hole through the center and add a bolt and nut with nylock. may have to grind a little to get it to clear when folding. don't force it! its plastic! sorry if it seams like a lot of work but its my first remix. Many thanks to sahrchitect.
