Wind up your spider, let it go and watch it go! No batteries required.

Print both halves with about 20% infill and no supports. Paint the pieces in your scariest colour scheme and allow to dry.
Use epoxy to join both halves of the mechanism together. When glueing, ensure that the key on the mechanism is centralised in the hole and that the alignment holes are in line.
If you want, you could make your spider more frightening by making it hairy!
