A better fitting box desinged from scratch to carry the ES24X board. For the cover the shipped one will fit - no need to prind an additional cover (only for a fan).
Using this box puts the PCB ~2mm deeper into the JB bay - the contact pins are now well connected. Because of the flat top carring the PCB the bord wwill stay in place when inserted into the radio. I had some trouble with the original design - the pins pressing against the PCB pushing it up instead fitting through.
