An experimental Joystick using 5A 250VAC u T85 micro switches and a small rubber 5mm 9mm grommet.
This joystick is ON/OFF not proportional.
The metal push arms are twisted off the micro switches, the microswitches are a push fit into the joystick body. Probably best to solder on your wires before pushing the micro switches into the body as they are a pretty tight fit. don't forget to push the actuator button in as you insert the micro switches.
Clean up the grommet hole and make sure that it's 7mm or slightly bigger.
Use a bit of Silicon Grease/Spray or a bit of spit to ease the rubber grommet into place the same when pushing the actuating stick through the grommet.
Two body types provided one without mounting lugs and one with mounting lugs you choose :-)
