Another of Jean Gordon's carvings.
Scanned with an Einscan s (Scanmaster Plus). Fixed up in Meshmixer, sliced in Simplify3D and printed on a Prusa Original i3 MK2.
The scanner did not do a good job scanning the region behind the penguin's feet and below the body so I had to fix up the scan using Meshmixer.
BTW the 'egg' is a separate article so did not form part of the scan. The 'egg' was added in Meshmixer.
Neither of the two posted variants is easy to print due the support needed for the beak and wings. I've posted the penguin without egg as it is slightly easier to print as the support for the beak can project from the base rather than from the top of the egg.
Removing the support from underneath the body is a bit tedious.
