J'ai régulièrement des PICC lines mais je ne supporte pas de porter le filet pour retenir la tubulure parce que ça gratte.
Ceci a été conçu pour être porté soit avec un bracelet de silicone élastique (ou quelconque autre bracelet faisant l'affaire) ou pour être collé sur la peau avec un morceau de ruban médical. Les 2 «ailes» qui sont utilisées pour aider à visser la tubulure dans le bouchon (flèches violettes sur la photo) sont supposées être insérées dans les 2 fentes adjacentes au trou du porte-tubulure.
Je l'ai testé durant plusieurs hospitalisation et ça a été un succès total. Si vous vous occupez de vos propres IV, c'est comme avoir une 3e main qui vous aide.
I regularly get PICC lines but I cannot stand wearing the white netting to hold the extension in as it makes my skin itchy.
This was designed to be worn either on a stretchy silicone bracelet (or any other kind of bracelet that will fit) or be taped to the skin using a piece of medical tape. The 2 "wings" or tabs that are used to help twisting the extension in and out of the cap (purple arrows on the picture) are meant to be inserted in the 2 slots adjacent to the hole in the holder.
I have tested it during several hospital stays and it was a huge success. If you take care of your own IVs it's like having a 3rd hand to assist you.
