A thing I had on my ToDo list for a long time, an Isocahedron in a Cardanic Suspension.
The center piece could be swapped to some heavier object, with that you could easily watch the stable rotation axis of a rotationg object by moving the holder around.
3D-Printed Parts:
Isocahedron: block support structures inside
Inner Ring: block support structures in holes
Middle Ring: block support structures in holes
Outer Ring: block support structures in holes
Holder: block support structures in thread and hole
Screw: no support, shell thickness: 6
Bought Parts:
2x 608 Ball Bearing (https://medias.schaeffler.com/medias/en!hp.ec.br.pr/60..-2Z*608-2Z?clrsb=1&)
4x 624 Ball Bearing (https://medias.schaeffler.com/medias/en!hp.ec.br.pr/62*624?clrsb=1&)
2x ISO 4762 M8x14 Screw
4x ISO 4762 M4x10 Screw
I had those bouhgt parts laying around, so I just used them. You can buy them pretty cheap on ebay. I also included a STEP file of the assembly, so you can perhaps modify the diameters for other bearings, idk.
I used Autodesk Inventor, Cura and a Ender 3 Pro with 0,4mm nozzle.
Layer thickness 0,2 and 0,28mm, Material: PLA
