This model is nearly identical to our now discontinued ICE WORLD diorama. We have had many people ask for the MISSING WORLDS dioramas in the past year - well, here is our favorite!
Want to add some more bling to your Star Wars PRO or LE/PREMIUM pinball machine? This diorama easily mounts to the back of your playfield right above the HOTH shot.
Make sure to download and print the correct version for your pinball machine (PRO vs LE). Both models have a built-in channel to add a single 5v waterproof LED pointing directly into the model to light-up the cannon when powered from the nearby left lane guide using a https://www.cometpinball.com/collections/matrix style bulb.
These are all print-in-place. If you plan on lighting your model, I recommend printing the cannon shell with only TWO (2) outside layers and an infill of about 12% to keep the materials low. This will produce a better internal glowing effect.
NOTE: WHEN PRINTING THE CANNON, MAKE SURE TO USE A RAFT OR BRIM OR THE PRINT COULD FAIL DURING THE FIRST HALF OF THE PRINT.
The turret and power generator should be printed on dark grey material at 100% infill. A spot of superglue will secure them in place.
To add the red ionic blast from the turret, purchase transparent 1/16" acrylic colored rods from your favorite hobby store, cut to 70mm and simply push it in until it hits the internally mounted LED!
