NOTE, THE FOLLOWING IS FICTIONAL: International Dynamics released it's first jet airliner, the IC-101A in June of 1959. The original A model depicted here was not widely popular due largely to it's tendency to dutch roll at the hands of an undersized tail fin, as well as other design quirks. The B variant went on to be far more popular, as well as other subsequent variants. The IC-101A sports four Pratt and Whitney JT4A's (modeled by 707) and is slightly larger than a DC-8 (excluding the super 60s and 70s). Subsequent variants will improve on this one and will include International Dynamics (Archer) engines as well as other improvements. Note that the windows are far deeper than required, as I intended to model an interior. I may finish the interior after subsequent variants are released. Some variants may go on to compete directly with the World Dynamics R-5 (with whom International Dynamics is not affiliated). The model is entirely mine, with the exception of the engines and pylons made by 707, and landing gear components made by William T. #1950s #Airbus #Aircraft #airplanes #aviation #Boeing #Boeing_707 #Chicago #commercial #Convair #Convair_CV880 #Convair_CV990 #Douglas #Douglas_DC8 #IC101 #IC101A #Inernational_Dynamics #jet #Pratt_and_Whitney
