The first Reynard chassis designed, built and driven by Adrian Reynard was in 1973. By 1998 Reynard Racing Cars was one of the largest racing car manufacturers and by 2001, the Reynard Cars had secured their 6th consecutive championship. They entered CART in March of 1994 and scored a win on their first outing. By 1995, the Reynard cars were dominating the series and were awarded with the Constructors' Championship, PPG Cup Championship, and a victory at Indianapolis. In 1996 and 1997, the domination continued in the CART PPG CUP competition, and was again awarded the Constructors and Drivers' Championship. Greg Moore was a Canadian racing driver from Maple Ridge, British Columbia. He graduated from an IndyLights title in 1995 to CART, eventually taking 5 wins (his first of which was the youngest driver to win a CART race to that date) and gaining popularity as a fan favorite and star of the future. Tragically, he was killed in a crash at the California Speedway in 1999 when his car spun to the infield, turned over on the grass and hit a wall His accident led to a safety push at Speedways to pave the infields to avoid a repeat of the crash. He was unable to fulfill the promise he had showed, but has not been forgotten by fans and drivers alike. **This model has full internal details, and various parts can be removed** **This model is in the lower drag speedway configuration** #1997 #1998 #1999 #car #CART #ChampCar #detailed #F1 #fast #Ford #Forsythe #Greg_Moore #Ilmor #Indianapolis #Indy_500 #IndyCar #IRL #lola #Mercedes #MercedesBenz #Motorsport #Oval #Players #PPG #Racecar #Reynard #speed #Speedway
