This remix of the extruder arm has an adjustment screw that allows the tension to be changed.
I noticed I wasn't getting the tension when I had to replace the arm on my modified version of the extruder plate (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2414477). I had originally moved the back plate back for the spring since it was too tight.
Now I've modified this arm and beefed it up where the screw goes. There are two slots so flat head (like a screw driver) can be used to increase the tension. The system now allows the spring to be put in easier, and then the tension adjusted. I've tightened it so the extruder skips when use the manual extrusion on the dial (will happen during the 2nd or 3rd turn). The screw needs to be inserted from the inside since the bump for the spring will not go through the hole.
The files are as follows:
Extruder_Arm_dbmod.stl : Extruder Arm with the screw hole.
Extruder_Arm_adjuster_screw_dbmod.stl: Adjustment screw.
Extruder_Arm_B_180: Original extruder arm top plate but rotated by 180 degrees for proper printing orientation.
