These proof-of-concept injectors were designed for use with RFID/NFC glass tags, magnets, or any other small implantable objects and devices. 2mm and 3mm variants are provided. This design has been successfully used once by myself to implant an NTAG216 in my left forearm. While off-the-shelf injectors are easy to come by, custom injectors will, I believe, open up the possibility of more easily implanting devices of non-standard sizes.
After printing, you'll need to add a 3" (75mm) piercing needle to complete the injector. The 2mm injectors are sized to fit a 10g need while the 3mm injectors are designed for a 6g needle. Depending in the material you print with, the needle can end up being a very tight fit. A dab or two of super glue can be used to secure the needle if it seems too loose.
The "T" shaped piece acts as the injector's plunger.
Be sure to disinfect the finished injector before use and be sure to study one of the online guides to implanting RFIDs before you attempt it yourself.
