Imperial I-class Star Destroyer

The Imperial-class Star Destroyer is the primary capital ship used by the Galactic Empire, and one of the most iconic vessels of the Star Destroyer line. At their prime, they were massive, mid-sized frontline vessels during the Empire's reign, and, much like stormtroopers, represent the Empire's might of power. Around 25,000 of those Star Destroyers have ever been produced. The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, originally referred to as the Imperator, during the time of the Clone Wars, was the first iteration of such an iconic series, and was originally used for the Republic Navy towards the end of the Clone Wars, and served alongside the Tector-class in a few task forces during the conflict.
