This is the "The Image Mill" that won the sustainability award in ArtPrize 2009. It was displayed in the fountain outside the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and videos of it's installation and operation can be found here...

This is NOT printable. The original Image Mill is 1.5 meters in diameter and was constructed from steel. Some of the parts were meant to be purchased (eg. gears) and were not properly represented in the STL. The STL is a 100x scaled down version meant for visualising the end product only. If there are sufficient interest, I'll convert this into a printable version.
I designed the waterwheel as well as most of the operating concept as part of my URECA project in the Nanyang Technological University. The stand, sprout, and image plates that were used in the actual sculpture were designed by others, so I do not have the copyright to reproduce them here. I also do not have any of my own photos of the actual sculpture but you can find plenty here.
