So to preface this, This design is heavily inspired by the brain3d case, insomuch as I looked at it, liked it and took cues from its design when designing this. I really like the brain3d mount, it looks super easily printable, just a bit expensive when I have a printer and tpu...and that was my goal when creating this, cheap and printable, a lot of mounts on here look great but need so much support my printer was having a lot of trouble printing them.
So I started from scratch with (https://grabcad.com/library/gopro-hero4-session-2) <-this model, so props to that guy or gal, great model and saved me a ton of time. I printed it and it fits really well, gopro is snug, and there is room for a strap(if you are paranoid like me, it fits perfectly on the screw holes, which you will need longer screws btw (I mean duh?). The door is accessible, and it is well protected, I cant comment how well it will hold up in a crash but...should be good. Find your gopro and print another if it manages to get ripped off. Print in tpu, I printed mine in some cheap 25 dollar per kilo stuff off of amazon and it worked out really well...
Im releasing a step file so that people may modify it for angle or other purposes (it always annoys me how no one does this, honestly this took me about an hour to design, its really not worth it to hold onto the files so tightly...). if you modify it and make it better, its always cool to help out other people, but I dont really care that much...If you modify it I always like a shout out...but once again not really that big of a deal...if you think its worth it to print it and try to make some money...go for it...but its probably not that good...
