Vibration damper based on tennis ball designed for Hypercube Evolution.
It could be used for any printer based on 3030 profiles.
BOM for one damper:
1pc tennis ball (of course)
4pcs M5 hammer nut for 3030 profile
4pcs M5x12 or M5x10 screws, HEX head recommended (DIN7380 or DIN912)
1pc M8x20 or M8x25 screw, HEX head recomended (DIN912)
Printed from PETG, 3 perimeters, 5 top/bottom solid layers, nozzle 0.4, layer 0.2, infil 20%, without support. Weigt is 50 grams each.
You can download and modify OpenSCAD source for this part.
Update 2018/01/10: tested on real printing during (silent) night. Works very well.
