Humpty Lock - Shugo Chara by Drelen

This is the Humpty Lock that Hinamori Amu wears in the anime Shugo Chara.

The hearts should help keep the setting from warping. Simply cut them off and paint as needed and then glue it all together.

A little filing may be necessary to get the hearts to fit properly. I had to file the V section of the heart for it to fit.

After which I primed all the parts, the hearts did not print out smooth so I use some glazing putty to fill in the grooves and then re-primed.

My daughter then painted the lock and setting gold, and the hearts were painted with a white base coat followed up with a top coat of glitter paint.

I still need to put on a glossy clear coat for protection but so far it is coming along nicely.
