Hovercraft Island hopper This is a design proposal for fast transport and ferrying passenger between Islands (such as the Caribbean island ) for local or tourist the application is simple as this vessel is amphibious and only needs a compacted tar or cemented beach ----- no need for a port or a dock - it comes with its own ramp built in to unload its cargo of cars or small trucks & passengers the civilian use of these boats kind of die out - the last one being British rail after the tunnel between England and France was dug out -- however this vessel is still the ideal answer to island countries such as the Maldives - Thailand the Philippines and others - it's also can be used for civil defence in area's were rescue and amphibious operating are most needed
