This is another alternative for substituting the Horizon Hobby's brushed motor to the brushless option on the Super Cub. It is one-piece (no assembly required). Can be printed without supports (single extruder), even though some bridging has to be done towards the top of the print. However, with .125" thickness there's plenty of strength even if some stringiness occurs at lower bridging layers.
The new adapter now has over 2 hours flying time on it with no issues or problems. The original plane was slightly nose heavy and the new brushless motor helps offset the CG a bit more aft. This may not be the case for every HH Super Cub, but it doesn't hurt to check the CG before flying anyway.
