This is my first own design in Fusion 360. After more than 20 years with Solidworks and a lot of other different CAD programs, I've decided to try Fusion 360 for my private hobby designs using a newly bought CR-10 as my tool.
This design is made to hold a LED bar/strip purchased in Sweden at a chain of stores called "Biltema", expanding over all the countries in Scandinavia.
For those of you not situated in these countries and have a severe craving for this design, the chances of finding the same LED bar/strip design worldwide (but maybe in other lengths), is in my opinion much probable, just make a search on the net.
The 300mm tube was printed upraised in vase mode with the bottom layers removed/inhibited in Cura 2.7
The support got printed flat on it's side with a 27% infill to get a part in PLA flexible enough.
I've tested these parts in PET-G as well and it is actually a better choice if you're comfortable with that material. The flex in a PET-G part feels rather more comfortable when you snap the support in place, but PLA works, just a bit more force required when mounting it to the profile.
The design, when used on my CR-10, is supposed to be used in a hanging position at the top bar, as well in a standing position on the side of the X/Y-table. Suitable for both 2020 and 2040 profiles.
The 90 degree snap design on the support part, was inspired by the this design ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1000002/#files ) made by the Thingiverse profile called "dintid".

I'm finalizing this design with some additional tweaks.
Enlarged Hex-pattern to reduce print time and personally I think they look better. As a bonus, the connectors of the original LED-strip manage to get through the hex holes, making it possible to use the pattern as a cable guide.
Talking of cable guide, one is implemented in the lower position making it easier to route the cable nicely along the aluminium profile.
STEP-files attached in the download section for those of you having the need, skill or urge to change and enhance.
Have fun!!
