A rocket stove consumes less wood to cook but does require the wood to be finely split. It's more fun to cook on a wood fire when you don't get smoked yourself!
It's a nice addition to a grill for making sauce or veggies.
This is my version of a collapsible rocket stove.
It can be lasercut from 2mm normal steel by your local sheet metal company, I payed 25€ excl. taxes. It could be cut from cortensteel or stainless if you like to leave it in the rain for a long period but it cleans up quickly.
It all slides together, no little things like bolts and nuts that tend to grow feet and disappear...
It packs flat to about 4kg.
The design is parametric in Fusion360 so you can change plate thickness, scale it, pimp it...
