PROTOTYPE - Under testing! Hex ball & socket connection for 8mm diameter z axis lead screw. Made to replace oldham coupler in systems where the leadscrew is fixed only in two places - at the motor using a flexable coupler and at the load (x-axis). Fixes to 2020 Aluminium profile. Unlike the oldham, this connector allows the lead screw to change angle to accomodate say an offset in the motor coupler or a bent shaft. It also has the benefit of separating if the x axis carriage hits the bed (in a similar fashion to the oldham). The "Socket Original TT" should be a drop in replacement for the usual oldham coupler on the stock Tevo Tarantula fixed to the underside of the x-axis rail - the other "Socket" is for my modified machine.
