Here are the blueprints for the chasis and legs of a cheap homemade hexabot. This model uses 18 micro servos, 3 per leg and an 18-channel micro servo controller. The chasis and legs can be made of a hard arcrylic or lightweight alluminum. You can find all the servos and the controller on many websites or hobby stores.
