The model represents the Hermitage of San Bartolomeo in Legio. It's an hermitage located in Roccamorice, Province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy.
The 3D model is already divided for the buildplate of Anycubic I3M 3D printer.
The 3D model is not a simple static replica, but there are 4 tactile sensors to be printed with a conductive filament. By wiring each of these parts with an Arduino UNO board and a capacitive circuit, 3D printing can be made tactile. An audio track is associated with each touch sensor, which allows information on the architectural element touched.
The 3D design was created by the 4G class (2019-2020) of the Liceo Galilei in Pescara, with the collaboration of Hi-Storia's trainers and the school tutor F. Santeusanio.
The architectural part of the hermitage was designed with Sketch-up. The part of the mountain, where the hermitage is set, was designed with Blender.
