Helicopter Helmet Boom Microphone by r2db

Need a helicopter boom mic for a flight sim (or your TIE fighter helmet like me - OK, TIE fighters would be considered "powered lift" category and not helicopters)?
This was designed around two readily available parts: a 2 pin female 0.1" PCB header (since real helicopter mics have a 2 pin female socket) and an Adafruit miniature microphone at https://www.adafruit.com/products/1935
The print was on a Taz 5 with black PLA with the pieces cyanoacrylate glued together. The index marks are perfect for my printer, but you may need to mess with the pin height and/ or diameter for yours.
