In my quest to make a Bowden extruder for the DaVinci 1.0 that will not stall (click) I used a huge 5Nm Nema 23. This has a 10mm shaft which I have not found an extruder gear of suitable size, so I had a converter made by a local engineer in steel, converting 10mm shaft -> 5mm. I then made this sandwich plate to accept a Nema 17 extruder spaced appropriately for a Nema 23 motor.
